Gyumri Sports and Cultural Center hosted the concert of Shushi Dance Ensemble (Artistic
Director: Seta Paskalian Kantardjian) with the participation of the Naregatsi Orchestra (Artistic Director: Artem Khachatur).

The concert atmosphere was warm and the Gyumri Sport and Cultural Center was packed with art enthusiasts.

The Naregatsi Orchestra performed a number of works: "Kalosi Prken and Ghashang e Mayli Tghen" (arranged on Shirak folk tunes), "Jrapi" (authored by A. Khachatur), Shushi-Artsakh folk dance (arranged by Artem Khachatur), "Dreams" (authored by Kh. Avetisyan), “Mountaineers’ and Young Mountaineers’ Dances” (from Aram Khachaturian’s “Gayane’’ ballet, soloist: Anna Hambartsumyan (santur)) and “Gyumri Dance" (music by Artem Khachatur).

Singers Anahit Zakaryan (New York) and Murad Malkhasyan (Gyumri), RA Honorary Artist Samvel Baghinyan also took part in the concert.

The Shushi Armenian Dance Ensemble was founded in 1992 under the auspices of St. Vartan Church in New York.
