The Naregatsi Folk Instruments Orchestra (Artistic Director Artem Khachatur) after their European tour had a concert in Goris Drama Theater.
The concert was organized in the framework of the program "Goris, CIS Cultural Capital of 2018" organized by the Ministry of Culture. At the end the Assistant to the Goris Community Irina Yolyan thanked the orchestra and handed diplomas to the best teachers.

- We are grateful to Naregatsi Orchestra for this amazing concert in the national spirit, the founder of the Naregatsi Art Institute Nareg Hartounian and director Gayane Khachatryan, as they gladly agreed with our offer and the award ceremony for handing certificate to the best teachers became possible within the framework of one event, - mentioned Irina Yolyan in her speech.

NAI Director Gayane Khachatryan handed the symbolic pomegranate with the NAI logo to Shant Hovhannisyan, Director of the Goris State Dramatic Theater after Vagharshyan and Irina Yolyan, Assistant to the Mayor of Goris.

The event featured the works from the "New Breath" CD, published in 2018, as well as other Armenian folk songs.
Goris is declared as the CIS cultural capital in 2018. According to the “Regulations of the CIS Cultural Capitals” Interstate Program, the cultural capital of the CIS is stated the city other than the capital on the suggestion of that country.
