Naregatsi Folk Instruments Orchestra (Artistic Director, composer, tar player, RA Honored Artist Artem Khachatur) had a concert in the Sisli Cemil Candas Kent Cultural Center of Istanbul.

The concert took place in a crowded hall, enabling the locals to enjoy unique Armenian folk music.

- We are here today and have the honor to perform for you with great enthusiasm. We have brought a special gift from our homeland. The Naregatsi Art Institute has a unique gift - a small cross-stone with NAI logo combining the blessing and culture of the Lord.

The gift is for Cesar Avedikian, who is the organizer of the Istanbul concert. With this gift, we bestow on you the title of "Ambassador of Armenian Culture", because you are one of those who uphold the honor of the Armenian nation in the whole world, - said NAI Founder Nareg Hartounian in his closing speech.

This is the first stop of the great concert tour, after which the Orchestra will give concerts in Italy, France and Switzerland.

The concert was attended by Garo Palyan, a politician and member of the Turkish Parliament. He is the founding representative of the Armenian primary school in the Yeşilköy district of Istanbul.
