Naregatsi Art Institute had the honor to host the famous "System of a Down"
rock band singer, songwriter Serj Tankian. The aim of the visit is to get acquainted with the Naregatsi Orchestra, to listen to them and to shoot a film.
In 2016 the young musicians under the artistic supervision of Artem Khachatur presented the cover of "Aerials" arranged for folk musical instruments as a tribute to Serj Tankian and SOAD band members, which was of great interest and thanks to the rock musician, who on his visit to Armenia in March 2017 didn’t reject the invitation of Naregatsi Art Institute Founder Nareg Hartounian and came to listen to them.
Tankian is again in the Naregatsi Art Institute with a film crew, who are interested in the purity of the Armenian music and the Naregatsi Orchestra activities. The working atmosphere was very warm and full of enthusiasm.

Naregatsi Art Institute founder Nareg Hartounian also expressed his warm feelings and words of gratitude:
