Musicians of "Naregatsi" Folk Instruments Youth Ensemble who were selected from different music schools participated at the "Veracnund" International contest-festival and won different prizes.

"Veracnund" International festival of young artists took place between May 6 and 11 in Gyumri. It was dedicated to Komitas 140th birthday anniversary. The participants were young artists between ages of 10 to 28 from different regions of Armenia, Artsakh, Georgia, Switzerland, Iran, Latvia and other countries. The board members of the festival were well known artists, specialists from Armenia, Germany, and Cyprus. Prizes in different nominations were prepared for the participants.

Musicians of "Naregatsi" Folk Instruments Youth Ensemble, who were selected from different music schools were also among the participants of the "Veracnund" International contest-festival who earned different prizes.

On May 17th "Naregatsi" Art Institute organized an event, which was meant to praise the musicians. The "Naregatsi" Art Institute executive director T. Ayntabian congratulated the participants and handed the presents. The Artistic Director of "Naregatsi" Youth Ensemble Hovik Sahakyan, as well as some parents gave their word of thanks to the musicians.
